Apple Vision Pro: What to expect in 2025
Apple Plans To Release A More Affordable $2,000 Vision Pro Headset in 2025

According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple plans to release a $2,000 Vision headset, that will be more affordable than the $3,500 Vision Pro in 2025. To make headsets that combine the real and digital worlds more accessible, Apple will use cheaper materials and a less powerful processor.
This lower-priced model will not include the EyeSight feature in the original Vision headset which displays the user's eyes outside the headset. Instead of the cool aluminum and glass design of the current Vision Pro, the company will use more plastic in constructing this new model. And unlike the original Vision Pro which uses an M2 chip, the new Vision Pro will be equipped with an A-series processor such as the A18 Pro, which works on the level as the M1 chip but is not as powerful as the M2 chip. By using a simpler design and lowering the performance, the tech giant makes it easier for everyone interested in AR/VR to enjoy the immersive experience at a cheaper cost.
Apple is definitely not slacking off as they are working on really exciting gadgets. In the mixed-reality space, Apple also plans to release a second-generation Vision Pro with an even powerful chipset in 2026 , followed by smart glasses similar to Meta's Ray-Ban smart glasses and Airpods integrated with cameras in 2027. Apple is apparently making moves in the smart home market. Their aim is to develop a more affordable iPad-like screen home gadget for making video calls, watching content and using apps. Additionally, there are plans to release a multifunctional tabletop device with a robotic arm.
